Takuji Motooka

As HSC’s representative in Japan, Takuji Motooka coordinates and integrates the Japanese practices of our Tokyo and Jakarta offices.

He worked for a major Japanese multinational for over 35 years and held numerous positions globally, in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the US. He spent 11 years in Indonesia, including 5 years as head of the company’s Indonesian operations. His expertise covers a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, transportation, oil & gas, petrochemicals, real estate, and healthcare.

He has a B.A. from Hitosubashi University, Tokyo and attended the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School. He has also served as Chairman of the Jakarta Japan Club (JJC/Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jakarta) and Secretary General of the Japan-Turkey Society (in Tokyo).
