Kentaro Dan has a degree in Law from Fukuoka University (Fukuoka, Japan). He worked in Japan for several years before moving to Jakarta in 2015. He has been involved in project planning, client development, and assisted Japanese companies looking to expand to the Asia market. Before joining HSC, he was head of the Indonesia office of a multinational company.
He is familiar with the Indonesian business environment and has accumulated in-depth knowledge of its laws and regulations. He advises many of the leading Japanese companies in Indonesia on a variety of issues. He provides advice on general taxation issues, tax audits and disputes, structuring of companies and transactions, and transfer pricing. He also provides general advice on doing business in Indonesia.
